The mountains may still be covered in snow, but that's not stopping my mind from wandering to thoughts of camping in the Uintas already. When the heat cranks up in the valley, there's no better place to be than in the cool air 10,000 feet up, drinkin' beer, fishing, and hiking among the pristine alpine lakes and towering pines. These photos are from an impromptu escape Lindsay and I took last summer with our trusty sidekick, Hank Mardukas, when we couldn't take the heat any more.
